The paintings of Marcin Jasik are a constant search in the area of the painterly language of abstraction. The artist draws inspiration from both his own experiences and the history of painting by reprocessing iconic images or motifs. What is visible in his works is free, intuitive utterance, however, guided by a conscious system of meanings and logic forms. These seemingly contradictory forms emphasize the narrative structure of pictures.

 

The artist's works are in private and institutional collections such as Zachęta - National Gallery of Art, STRABAG Art collection, Svetlik Art Foundation and the Mbank Collection. In the year 2022, he was selected as a finalist for the STRABAG Artaward International held in Vienna, Austria
 
Works and lives in Warsaw.
